Throughout my body of photographic work you'll find recurring trees in multiple form: - embedded in landscapes or just twigs and leaves - sharp, minimalistic with a touch wabi-sabi or - with a feeling of impressionism and post-impressionism images.
It wasn't till a mentorship I teached 2016 that I realized that trees have a meaning for me, symbolizing something important. So important that I can’t stop shooting trees again and again. This lead me to explore trees more and to create this book -for which I have invited also some photographer friends to show their answers of the poetry of trees.
Maybe we all never know what trees mean to us, or how important they are for us, but I want to take you on a journey and hope that at the end of this road you’ll find some hints of what an answer could be and that you see the extraordinary beauty of those wonderful creatures through my images you will see the trees again…. for the the first time.
